If you’re anything like me then I have been head down in the new Harry and Meghan documentary on Netflix, it’s filmed so beautifully but what resurfaced, which was a joy to see, was the wedding well more importantly The dress, the reception dress and those beautiful images which just screamed love!!

Let's talk about the dress as that’s what I’m here to do, I loved this dress when she appeared out of the car and it's by one of my favourite fashion houses, Givenchy who's creative director at the time was Clare Waight Keller.
It felt very Meghan, 100% authentically her, such a Classic crisp cut teamed with that incredible veil. Meg's veil added the drama the dress needed which was quite demure in train length given the occasion and what we have seen previous royals wear for their ceremony.

The dress compromises of only 6 well-placed seams, my favourite parts? The 1/4 sleeves and boat neckline, I thought they were such a subtle modern twist for a huge ceremony built upon tradition. It gave me a huge breakfast at tiffany vibes which is very fitting seeing as though Givenchy himself dressed Audrey Hepburn throughout their time together.
Then came the second look of the day, the reception dress, by Stella McCartney which I absolutely love! Keeping it super classic and simple in a halter bias dress that skimmed the body and enabled her to move freely and enjoy the night- which is super important! If you're not having two looks then always pick a dress you can dance in and most importantly eat in so you can have pure joy from day to night in!
